Your work will be undertaken by, or supervised by, lawyers qualified as Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives. We do employ trainee solicitors and paralegals to undertake more straight forward cases under supervision. Details of all our family lawyers can be found in the ‘our people’ section of this website.
- Initial appointment of up to 1 hour with a letter of advice and if required 1 letter to another person £158.33 + VAT = £190
- Applying for, and completing an undefended divorce or civil partnership dissolution £415 + VAT = £498 plus court issue fee (Court fees: £593 for Divorce and £365 for Judicial Separation). Additional fees apply should extra steps be required during the case e.g. to prove delivery of the petition or using a translation of your marriage certificate.
- Responding to, and completing an undefended divorce or civil partnership dissolution £250 + VAT = £300
- We have other fixed fees for specific items of family law work which can be accessed once the initial appointment has been paid for.
Most other family law services are charged according to the time spent on your case. We can provide details of our hourly rates on request.
